Gem and Jewellery Export Promotional Council Registration main objective is to bring about exports of Indian Gem and Jewellery and its products globally and to organize export counsel to the Gem and Jewellery product exporters. The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) set up by the Ministry of Commerce Government of India in 1966 to promote the export of the Indian Gem and Jewellery and its products. The primary purpose of the GJEPC is to produce about exports of Indian Gem and Jewellery and its products worldwide and to provide export guidance to the Gem and Jewellery product exporters.
The Council is headquarters Mumbai and its regional offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Surat and Jaipur, all of which are many centers for the enterprises and works towards boosting the growth of the Indian gems and jewellery industry and its products by conducting international exhibitions, trade fairs, and other trade promotional activities. Also India is Gem and Jewellery sector is one of the largest in the world and is the most preferred country in terms of export of the same. GJEPC is to make India as the most preferred source for quality gems and jewellery and its mission is to permission every individual associated with this enterprises to achieve their full possible.
