Trademark symbol 'TM' is a provisional symbol which is used for unregistered Trademarks. It acts as a warning symbol that the application is in progress. The trademark symbol 'R' signifies the registered trademark. ® The symbol can be used with once the application gets approved by the government. The validity of the registration is 10 years from the date of filing of the application. After the period of validity you can renew the trademark. A trademark is only valid in India and will not permit in any international status.
